    3" Roll Sandpaper

Question about roll Sandpaper. I'm using Klingspor paper, and it's $85 or so for a 50m roll. I saw that on Online industrial supply they have an un-named american manufacturer with an x weight cloth roll for over $20 less per roll. I've read good reviews about the Klinspor, but know little about how much a quality roll of paper should cost. Does anyone have any advice on roll paper or an opinion on the Klingspor cost?

    Thanks

Here is what I use. It is only a coupel of dollars cheeper than your link. I don't know the weight but it is some tough stuff. I have never had one tear on me.

I use the stuff from Online Ind. for my drum sander and have for years and its great stuff, lasts forever especially if you use those rubber cleaning sticks to keep it clean. I pretty much only use the 180 grit or occassionally the 220 (I use it mostly for running faceframes, cabinet doors and wide tabletops). The 220 will load easily and burn if not careful but I've been on the same roll of 180 for 5yrs.. of course I typically only run hardwood through it. A couple times running pine and it just gummed up and burned easily. Their sanding discs are good to which I once used often but they contaminate some waterbased finishes with stearates between coat sanding so for disc I'm only using Festool or Klingspor now.
