Thread: Are 1/2" and 5/8" FF hinges made?

    Are 1/2" and 5/8" FF hinges made?

    Looking for 1/2" sides and/or 5/8 sides Face frame Euro hinges for full overlays.
    Do they make them? I diidnt see in rockler catalog but havent got much further than that.

    Still not sure if thye have one for face frames thinner than 3/4?

    Anyone know?

    Blum's Compact 33 can be mounted directly to the front face of the face frame. http://wwhardware.com/media/products.../compact33.pdf In that configuration, they don't care how thick the face frame is. Unlike regular cup hinges, the Compact 33 adjusts left-right and up-down, but not in-out. Depending on your design, that might or might not be an issue. To get three-way adjustment, you may have to add blocking to the back of the face frame so you can use regular cup hinges.

    Thanks Jamie, I can see how that would work.I may have to go to local rockler today to see if thye have that. I need it for tommorrow.
