I just ordered the Self Cleaners from Lee Valley. They seemed to have the best price so I hop they are a good gate. We shall see when they come and get into use.

    SDR35 or ASTM2729

You said you are using SDR35 which I have never seen in white. Does the pipe say 2729 on it or is it really SDR35 in white. I'd love to have some and my Dad lives in Nixa, so he could bring me some.

Robert, The pipe has 2729 on it but the connectors are all SDR35 when I ordered them from Nixa Ace Hardware. Be sure to stop by when you come to visit your Dad always fun to meet new people.

Well I guess I finally did something right. They looked good on line and were only a couple dollars more then the gates at Grizzly that weren't self cleaning so I figured the were a good buy.

It's been a few months since any posts to this thread. So, I have several questions now that you have experience:

How do you like the G0548Z?

Have you looked for any filters that go to .5 micron or smaller?

Do you think a cyclone would give you much of an improvement?

Do you have any advice for me? I am considering the G0548Z, the Clearvue, or the 2 hp Grizzly cyclone.
