    My tools are realtively well tuned. My problem is that I usually make a mental error, like measuring from the 1" mark on a tape measure in order to get a more accurate reading and then forgetting to subtract the inch when I make the cut. Sometimes I cut the board from the wrong end or from the wrong face. Stupid stuff....

    Unfortunately, I can totally relate.

    I'm building a workbench, and it is my triumphant "inattention to detail tour"

    I really need to do a better job of slowing down and really thinking my next step through. But I love doing it and I'm only 32. So hopefully I have time to improve.
