It's about time I did something

The bedroom furniture is finally done. For my first furniture build, I think it came out pretty good. Try not to notice the mirror, I am redoing the bathroom and needed a place to put that for now.

The bed and tables are soft maple and walnut, with 4 coats of Arm-R-Seal.

Nice job Joe... I really like the simplicity of the bed design letting the wood do the speaking in lieu of ornamentation.

Maple and walnut - it gets no better! Good clean design. Is a chest or dresser next on the list?

Actually, I am done for now. I have a huge closet with lots of shelves, so no need for a dresser or chest. After the bathroom is done, i need to reorganize the shop which will probably mean new cabinets.

    Very nice

Sometimes the simple, basic design is best. Are you going to paint the mirror as a special art project?

That walnut is beautiful. Much better to let the wood do the talking. How did you join the legs to the bed rails?
