    Ever do business with them?

You can buy it directly from the manufacturer for the same price: http://www.pennstateind.com/store/CSC3000C.html

Incidentally, I love my barracuda 2 - I bought mine from amazon for $169.

    May I Suggest

    You might try:

    http://stores.shop.ebay.com/L-and-R-...__W0QQ_armrsZ1

I have no interest in this store except:

    A. The store owner, Rich, belongs to my woodworking club and is a great guy.
    B. He can usually get you a discount on any of these chucks.
    C. I was looking at a chuck and he directed me to another one that was more capable and cheaper
    D. Rich knows all there is to know about turning. He is a real expert. He does demos for our club and he is really good.

Just a suggestion. It can't hurt to look.

I purchased a barracuda chuck from him a couple years ago. They were great to deal with.

    Thanks guys!

That is the feedback I was looking for. I have never seen them before last night when I stumbled onto their site.

I have heard that the Wooden Post has new ownership as the original owner Gary Neely? has retired. I've purchased several items from them in the past and have always been satisfied with their service. They are also distributors of the Ring Master Machine.
