    A Fun Project

Well.... I suppose "project" can be a very loose term? Do you call it a project for each one of them, or do you call the idea coming to fruition.....a project.

Anyways.... Traveling home to Minnesota for a well needed vacation sometime in the not so distant future.... and here is the bounty that's going with me..... they've all got a name attached to them...

I guess the "project" was to make sure the one's that need one.... got one.

So, here's to finishing up this project!!! (Well, sort of...they still need to be delivered)..

Note: I just looked at the picture of the oak coffee table/blanket chest in the photo.... it's the 3rd thing I ever made back in the early 90's.....fun!

Ed, you were apparently in to boxes early on with that blanket chest That was a nice piece in its own right, but your boxes have "kicked it up a notch." Nice collection, and you are going to have a bunch of happy folks!

Nice gift booty making the trip Ed. Now if you could locate 3 wise men in our area to deliver on camels that would be the ticket. Well.. I can only think of two village idiots in our area thoiugh so.. maybe you should just proceed as planned.

Very nice collection and surely to be appreciated on the north-bound end. Have fun on the trip...

    A fun project

    Hey Ed,

What a beautiful collection. I am blown away by the diversity of design exhibited. Most of the things I build are designed by others, although I often modify them to suit my tastes. Maybe we could get together and descend on " the Sarge" one day for a little communal "brain pick'n". It would certainly help my knowledge base.
Good luck and best wishes for a safe trip back home to deliver all the goodies. Jim Pritchett

Ha! Ed - You might find this amusing, but craftsmen and hobbyists call their work "projects". Artists call it "their body of work".

Reckon I'll have to go with "Body of Projects".... as I'm not quite there in either regard...

Hey Ed, as usual, great looking "Body of Projects". I'd call it more the "Body of Work" as mentioned prior as I'd consider it more art.
I REALLY like the looks of the small box, front row, second from the left. Looks like Bubinga. Love the use of the grain as well as that wood in general. I'm sure whoever gets 'em will be happy to have 'em.
