    Sculpted Box

So I saw another guy who used a grinder to shape his boxes and decided to give it a try. It turns out that it's pretty fun once you get the feel for your grinder. The box is made from curly maple, curly cherry, and bloodwood. I flocked the inside (should have practiced first) but it turned out ok.

Jeremy... the LSU Tigers couldn't have done better on a Saturday night in Baton Rouge... I love the treatment of the base.. the rounded and sloped in corners.. lid.. etc.. D*mn if I don't like the whole thing as I find it simple but yet elegant. That's a nice piece and if you think for one minute I'm not going to do something similar (I may do it by hand without a grinder) you would be wrong.

I love the box... or have I already said that in a round or bout way?

Very nice, and something different for those of us that get tired of trying to vary our run-of-the-mill rectangular output by just switching out woods.

I second all the compliments, and then some.
