    Here is your ultimate VS lathe that will last forever. No swivel head to cause problems. One drive belt that will wear out but is easy to change. Get a little exercise as well.

    I understand the vacuum chuck for that lathe has a mouthpiece.

    Jeez, before I could even show a pic of it you beat me to the punch!!!!! my new one is just like that, but it has the double foot upgrade
    I am very pleased with it so far as I should have my first bowl turned on it by sometime next month, just in time for a thanksgiving centerpiece.
    It has everything I'm looking for. No brand name to get in the way, solid cast iron throughout, no $1100 EVS to fix, obviously built to last, quieter than any of your lathes, it even came with a migrant farm worker to pump the mother, the only problem is that I had to sell my car to pay for it. My sweety "Bertha" is down below.....man it sucks not having a car in LA, but at least I have a lathe!!!!! Now that I have a lathe I will be posting pics of my work......if I do something small, maybe late next week.

    well depending on the way I would travel, I'm roughly 2,340 miles to 2,529 miles away from the infamous STEVE SCHLUMPF!!!!
