My shop computer has a 19" LCD attached to it and like I said with the computer, it gets blown out once a quarter. It's been out there for almost 5 years, no problems.

To keep dust from being overly attracked to the screen, I wipe it with a FRESHLY USED clothes dryer sheet (same technique for face shields and glasses).

    Be well,

    Doc

Thanks. I discovered I can take the stand off and invert it, so I built some wood rails into the floor joists that it fits on. The monitor can be easily taken off if necessary. My shop is my tiny, 100-year-old shelf basement, so making things fit is a challenge. I thought I'd forget the TV, but I have found I'm spending more and more time down there and will probably want to during football season. I put it on the least dusty side and close to both compressed air and dust collection.
