    Chicago - Old Tools

For folks in the Chicago area, next year consider attending:

    http://www.garfieldfarm.org/news080209.html

It was my first visit and I didn't know what to expect. I had gone to the Kane County flea market the day before -- searching for just one piece of worthwhile rust. At Garfield farm, there were about 20+ vendors, lots of every kind of tool, with something for everyone. There were plenty of user tools in addition to some rare pieces. The tables had plenty of value items that made me regret buying most of my planes on eBay!

I know, it sucks hearing about this afterwards... but next year will be here soon! I'm going to start saving now

    That cat's got a farm?

I always thought he was too lazy and hated the outdoors.

Probably another Garfield than the one I'm thinking of.

I know it's crazy isn't it? Lazy but likes hand tools... just doesn't make sense!
