Shop layout with Sketch-up

I am getting ready to set up my new garage shop. I would like to use Sketch-up to do a few layouts before making a final decision. Does anyone know where I can get a library of common wood shop tools to use in laying out the shop?

Ben,
Click on "Components" in the "Window" pull down and search for any individual tool (ie. table saw, band saw etc.) in the google box.

Try the Google 3D Warehouse.

It's how I did mine.

I used Sketchup to layout my new shop, found most of my tools in the 3D warehouse.

Here is a link for you. This fella did an article for fine woodworking on shop layout. He has sketchup models for lots of common tools that you can download.

It is a great idea Ben, I did the same thing before moving the heavy machines. It's much easier to do on the computer first.

I just used a common library of tool components like those others have linked to in this thread. This is how it turned out.
