Excellent job of joinery and beautiful results, Jim. You did one heck of a job of grain selection which is not always easy with cherry. And also an outstanding job down to the buttons which is not as easy as many would thing to get those small buggers detailed proportianately.

    Very well done....

Thumbs up True spirit of Morris and the movement...

    Great work Jim,
Wow, handsome grain and design... what a beauty!
Terrific attention to detail, and too cool that you corresponded with the Schwarz.

May I ask... did you use real Ebony accents or colorize some other wood?
    They look fabulous.

Did you handcarve the lightening bolts? Very subtle.
I'm guessing you used alot of handtools.

    Lastly...
Care to share how you get around the Creek photo limits to post
    10 large and hi-resolution pics?
I find the 107KB ceiling on jpgs makes for small, lossy and diminished project photos.
You sure had no problems with that... great pics.

Thanks for sharing a peek with us,
I will include you when I compile the Morris builder list on the Creek.
    be well,
    Walt

ps What are you planning to build next?
