    What'cha can do with Laserbuzz.

This is something I came up for the Mississippi HWY Patrol.
A few weeks ago I asked how I could inlay acrylic to wood.
I started out tracing their logo and did a good job, with some
of Franks help. but then they evolved into a few wanting the
    actual patch placed in it.

That was easy enough, and sold them a few, but I did not
like the idea of the patch getting dusty and dingey after time.
So I inlayed 1/8" clear acrylic over the patch cut out.
Being a pen turner and having the 3 viscosities of
caynoacrylate glue (super glue), I used the thick, along the edges.
Don't use the activator to speed it up. It'll crack the acrylic.
If you get any glue on the acrylic, suprisingly it'll clean up with
the Novus #3. Don't throw the patch cut outs away, use them to
lift the patch up to the acrylic.

This will work great with the military, civilian patches.

I've often wondered why people didn't use the Laserbuzz concept more creatively to fit their customers' needs. Good thinking.

    Buzz,

Very confusing website, I can't seem to find where to look for the blanks of those circular plaques.

Do I have to buy the software in order to buy the blanks?

By blanks, you mean the wood? We supply product designs for laser entrepreneurs; you buy the plywood locally. We recommend 1/8" Russian Baltic Birch but you can use other substrates.

Good job Anthony. That is what we do also. Not quite as nice as that but we do laser badges in the 3d Rounds for Fire, Police and Game Wardens. I will have to get some pictures soon.

Yup. Ahhh, OK, now I get it thanks Buzz. I was thinking you also supplied the laminated disks of wood pre-made.

    Thank You!

Tom's designs make it easy. I use them on everything frompen boxes, leather key tags, LED acrylic.
