    Mirror Frame

    Here is the drawing room mirror frame i modeled and machined. The flourishes are designed on moulding and the frame size is 5feet x 2.5feet....

    I always feel happy when i do something for my home..

    Very nice.
    A couple of questions;
    did you dado the back for the mirror after doing the design and then cut miters as though this was a conventional molding?
    Did you do the miter cuts with the CNC as part of the design cutting process?
    thanks

    Thanks Skip Weiser and Bob..

    Bob... The molding is the part of relief design.. Also i didn't cut the Miters but i design the complete relief in such a way that all the machining and miter cuts carried out by the CNC itself..

    I just join the 4 parts of Frame and on the bottom i made a framework leaving 1/2" space all around from inner side for the mirror.
