One box is made of Maple ,Walnut,Oak and Teak. the number 2 box is made of Maple ,Cherry and Teak. The last box is made of Lacewood and Purpleheart.

John, from one box maker to another- I like 'em! I love the contrasting woods. As a kid who grew up with a box of crayons with only 8 colors I sometimes have difficulty seeing how different combinations will work together. Good job.

I have done so much with so little for so long I am now qualified to do anything with nothing......

P.S. If you are interested in plans for any project that I post, just put some money in an envelope and mail it to me and I will keep it.

    Good idea

I have a lot of wood in the pile Mike. So when I want to make a box I lay scrapes of different woods togeather to see what goes. Maple will go with any dark wood. Cherry you have to be careful with. Purpleheart seems to do well with anything. Just some thoughts.
