    Drill Press fence - accurate setting

    And if the table rotates or you change the height of the table, then?

    As for changing the table height, I don't see any problem...

    If I rotate the table, I can turn it back exactly to the same original position...

    Thanks for the share and great pictures with captions.

    I assume that to reset everything if the table moves is you would have to install the board jig, then just center the drill bit between the fence and jig.

    If you raise or lower the height of a drill press... well at least mine, then the table can shift slightly as soon as you unlock it so the bit won't be centered in the same area.

    As you can see, my drill press is a bench top DP.

    I clamped an iron try square to the bench and, every time that I move the table out of "center" ( to change for longer bit or to set new table height), I just push it back till it touches again the try square (as you can see on the link).

    I don't have the Floor drill stand so I don't have any idea as for returning the table to center.
