Free wood! Small Gloat
Some friends of mine recently had there walnut tree die. They had it about 20 years and grew it from a sapling. Was not really big,the trunk was about 7 inches in diameter. They cut it down and asked if I wanted it. I said of course free wood is the best wood. They even delivered it to my house! Anyway the woodworkers guild that I belong to had a field trip to local urban woods sawmill. So I loaded it up and off I went. The owner said he would cut it for a share of the wood. Excellent I said. So here is what I got out of it.
