I teach junior high shop and need to ventilate my 7 scroll saws. The school board did not ventilate them initially, likely under the assumption that they do not produce much dust. Well, 7 of them do make a lot of ambiant dust, so I need to get this fixed up in the next few weeks.

They are Deltas, and it seems that a fair amount of dust falls into the underside of the machine, as opposed to the front.

Any suggestions on how to maximize the benefit of a dust collection port for these machines? I was thinking of getting mounting a 2 1/2 " dust port from Lee Valley on the underside of the table upon which they rest....but don't know if I should have it under the main machine body, or have a small tube aimed right at the underside of the blade.

I hope for some help, and hope this wasn't too confusing.
