    Another friend into turning

A friend of mine goes to an art school called OTIS. They have some lathes there but nothing special and the tools really aren't that great. In one of his projects he wanted to incorporate the lathe so I helped him out. Here are a few pictures.

He's made 3 in total so far and each time he gets better.

    Hey Alex,

Good on you, bud, way to go! I've taught two kids how to turn and my husband actually, so it's nice to see someone go on and do some cool stuff as you took the time to teach a bit. Way to go!

    Best to you,

    Jude

    Alex,
Your friend is lucky to have a mentor such as yourself.
    (\'s up.

Alex - judging by the HF, I would say you are a pretty good teacher! Glad to see the the interest in turning is being passed along!
