    New cordless drill (mini-gloat)

My 18v Milwaukee died an unnatural death at the hands of my former employee (he pulled a no show/no call today). I sold it on ebay for $100 when I found out they wanted $120 to fix it. I went out today at lunch and found a Makita 18v drill flashlight combo (missing the flashlight) at Texas Tool Traders for $199. I jumped at it cause the extra room where the flashlight goes will come in very handy when I add my drill bit box later.

It was between the Bosch and this Makita and the Makita got the nod because the fit and finish was much better...used it today for awhile and so far so good.

I already put some spade bits in the box...that's not rust, it's a leaf on the bits...

    Good find Kelly.
I probably should of picked up a simular deal at Lowes yesterday but passed as I have surpassed my tool budget for the year.

Does this mean that each time you visit us for a BBQ that you go home and buy a new tool?

Nice find and I belive you will really like the Makita.
    Thanks & Happy Wood Chips,

Heck, I don't have to wait for a BBQ, but it is more fun....
