    Question Dewalt 735 adjustment?

Has anyone adjusted the thickness setting (fixed stops) on the 735? Mine is a bit proud. I would like to adjust it to a more accurate setting. I see the post that acts as a stop for each detent but I am a little unsure if this is the place to adjust it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. BTW there is no reference to this in the manual.

Byron - I do not use the fixed stops on mine. I installed a Wixey thickness gauge and use that for the 'final say'. it's easy to calibrate, and dead-on.

You are correct, the post for the detents has a locknut on the bottom, just loosen the locknut and screw in the post until you get back to the correct setting.

After putting the Byrd Shelix on mine it is out of adjustment. I use a Wixey gauge so I haven't bothered with it.
One of these days I'll get it adjusted.
