Mini Max S45 14" Bandsaw

Where can I get information on this saw? Have seen one on Craig's List listed at $500 but don't know how old the saw is. It is yellow in color.

They used yellow in 1989. Bought a new stroke sander that year. I have 2004 S45 , it's white and 18" depth with 2.4 hp single phase

Hi David,

I have the S45 bandsaw. My saws is light green. It is around 10 years old. If you call Mini-Max USA and give them the serial # they will tell you how old the saw is.

Mini-Max said I could not install a carbide resaw blade because it would not tension the blade. I am still investigating that. I am happy with the saw. It has been very good. Mine came with a 1.8 HP motor.
