    Making my own Air Filtration, Need advice to make the unit

    A few posts down I asked about air filtration, Thanks for all the advice on that.

    I will build my own, but the direct drive squirrell cage fan I have has a opening on both sides. Meaning it has a intake on the motor side and the non motor side. Does one of these sides need closed off? (I was thinking the motor side left open to help assist in motor cooling)

    The guy I got it from said it got hot when running it, I figured he may not know what he was talking about...... you would have to know who I got it from.

    Let me know what some of you did and how it has worked out! Pics or links are really appreciated!

    Jason - just Google "shope made air cleaner" or "shop built air cleaner". there are some hits that have decent pics on how you might proceed....
    I wondered why the baseball was getting bigger....then it hit me.
