    Smile New Toy

Here is the my newly assembled friend. I really love the left tilt and the 52" fence, although I wish my basement shop was wider than 8'.

I have also included a photo of my first saw. It served me well for 5+ years, but I grew out of it.

Thanks to all those who sent me input on my "which saw to chose" posts. I will post some photos of finished projects as they become available.

Paul, congrats on the significant upgrade. Excellent choice as well. 8 feet wide doesn't leave much room on either side, but I once had a shop only 10 feet wide, so I know it can be done. BTW, do you have more lights down there or is it a cave you're working in???

    Be well,

    Doc

    Congratulations on a major upgrade!

That's a mighty big saw to fit into an 8' wide shop.

Good looking saw you got there! I have always heard good things about the General line of tools. Might have to get one of them sometiime. Although If I had a green saw along with my bright red cyclone it might look like Santa's workshop.

Nice upgrade. I was right there with you. I had the same craftsman saw for about the same amount of time, then I upgraded earlier this year to another green machine.

Enjoy the new saw and work safely.

    Very trick!
It looks like a Craftsman from one side and a General (sorry for the previous Grizzly deal, 50-something eyes!) from the other! What a country!
