Board is about 7ft long 6-8" wide and 1/2thick, maybe a little thicker. Nice grain pattern in it.

    Bubinga!

also got the box of African Mahogany cut off scraps as well. Total price 20.00

    gloat or no gloat?

Lets see, $2.05/BF for bubinga? If you can use the 1/2" thickness, then very good indeed. If not, than please mail it to Peter Quinn, P.O. Box......

Yup, I spent $20 for dinner tonight. If they had bubinga on the menu I would have ordered that and skipped a meal. Or eaten the bubinga, which might be tough on the teeth.

Ok, thanks guy! My first real gloatable buy!

Oh and measured it, it is actually just about an inch thick, was rough sawed and faced two sides

Now question, to cut it into blanks I want to cut with the grain correct? So they turn with the grain.

Also how is mahogany for pen blanks and pendants?
