    Tool Repair

I have a Dewalt 735 planer. If you're familiar with this planer you know it has two speeds. To change speed youflip the lever to the speed you want but only while the machine is running. Mine is stuck on position #1 and itwon't move to position #

Anyone know the fix for this.

I have a Delta planer with 2 speeds and I had a similar problem. The gear shift had a rack and pinion gear set and the teeth got clogged with fine dust, jamming the lever. I'm guessing if you can get behind the cover where the lever goes you will find a similar situation.
