    Soldering HVAC duct material

    Can HVAC ductwork metal be soldered? Long story. Let's just leave it that it isn't for ducting (furnace or dust collector)

    If you are talking about galvanized sheetmetal, the answer is yes it can.

    Yes it can, but it comes with a oil like substance on it that will need to be cleaned off. That can be done with 1/2 white vinager and water then "ruby fluid".
