    My apologies to Mark Cothren...

.....whom I shamelessly stole this idea from!

I had this ugly walnut hunk laying around from last year's free tree's, about 11" x 16", couple coats of Danish oil..............

    ...and the bottom.

Any and alll comments, cracks, slams accepted. Sorry for the pics, my photo tent is loaned to a friend.

I have to say, maybe because I love Walnut, I really like it. Is that a foot on the bottom? Kind of hard to tell in the photo. Looks like it may be balanced fairly well.

I like it. It looks like a bowl that wood be sitting on the table at a Minnesota backwoods hunting lodge. I really like the rustic look to it.

Barry - really nice work! Love the wood! Looks like it really grabs the light! Also like the non-traditional form! Great conversation piece!

I LOVE IT, I recently tried one of these pieces and it came out no where near as good as this. Job well done.

  7. I like it a lot, Barry! Nice work.
