    Pattin myself on the back

Well I just finished the first round of face frames for our kitchen. I know its time that is the ultimate judge of the quality of finish but man is it beautiful. Birds eye pine, sealed with Bullseye sanding sealer (sprayed) then a coat of Amber Zinsser Shellac (sprayed) another coat of Bullseye, lightly sanded and a brushed on coat of Deft Lacquer. The grain around the birds eye is unbelievable. It looks like an old candy apple paint job only amber. The color looks very natural. Very happy with the outcome.

You should be proud - a big job to be sure.

However - you know the rules as well as anyone, no pics - didn't happen.

Have to agree, Rick. That is a beautiful color - almost has that old pine patina. Good work!
