Wood sign for lake house complete! And a thank-you

Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for advice on making a wooden sign for my parents lake house. I have the week off for Christmas so I finally found the time to get in the shop and get the sign made. I think it turned out pretty well, and it was one of the fastest woodworking projects I have ever done. (Being on a tight deadline to finish before Christmas is a good motivator.)

The sign is about 15 inches tall by 23 inches wide. It is made of cedar and finished with black enamel spray paint for the letters and edging and a spray enamel clear coat over everything. (Valspar paint. Lowe's doesn't carry Krylon I guess...) I used the technique of routing out the letters, spraying everything black, and then sanding to remove the extra paint. Worked great. The lettering came out very sharp and my parents are very happy with the sign. Thanks again for all of the advice, I know that is the reason that the finished product turned out so well.

If I could ever finish working on my shop, maybe I could find the time to start working in my shop.
