    Laser cut robot

I saw these plans at http://www.instructables.com/id/How_...rvo_Robot_SER/ for a rolling robot cut from 1/8 acrylic. It uses the popular Arduino open-source micro-controller as the brains. Two standard R/C servos are modified for continous rotation and these direct drive the wheels. The plans are freely available in .ai and .cdr formats. I made slight mods the the design to accommodate the larger Arduino Mega board. Works well (unfortunately my servos aren't properly centered so it never completley stops).
I just have to add sensors to make it react to it's environment.
