It's basically an edge/threshold detect with a slider control. Might be useful and is definitely the right price.

Just a note, when I went to the website it said it was blocked. Spy Ware detected.
It had a link to remove the Spy Ware.
I passed.
Thanks for the thought though.

Good catch. A virustotal:

...said there was "Suspicious.Insight" contained in the file.
Could well be a false positive, but I don't think I'll take any chances either.
False positive... Symantec kind of sucks for false positives, and its favorite is Suspicious.Insight.

I expect so, but I'm just finishing an install after a cheap chinese camera took out half the drivers on my system and I don't really want to go round again. Knowing my luck, I'd get the 1/100 that actually contains a dose....
Almost guaranteed to be a false positive...it's the 'almost' bit.
I emailed the software co, just in case they didn't know.
Talking of Symantec and false positives, check out the VirusTotal 'last 24H' statictics:

pffft!
Update: I've just heard back from ImageSkill- they went as far as to scan all the files without the installer (clean) and recompile the installer using only txt files (BING: Symantec's Suspicious.Insight).
So Symantec is picking up on their installer (NSIS- a free and open-source installer, so I SERIOUSLY doubt there's anything iffy there).
I've already installed the plugin- can't have too many easy black-and-whiteifiers.
Dan- you get 10 points and 1 free "I told you so". Martin, you score -1 for having that Norton **** anywhere near your system.

Updated update on the update:
Symantec told the software author they had make a mistake and that they would remove his 'malware' tag. I don't know whether they've done it yet as I'd have to load Norton to test and life's too short.
Incidentally, Dmitri -the author- is a nice chap. Gave me a freebie copy of his background remover plugin. We also discussed other graphics-related subjects; like dithering and the shocking price of Photograv. Watch this space.
