Hey folks, this is a clear example of why SMC prefers people to post their pix directly on this website. Posting pix as a link to another site often means the pix are lost when the other site goes down or the site owner deletes the pix because of storage or other issues. Please post pix directly here.

It's not that hard. Just try and then try again. Remember you are limited to 8 pictures per post.
Try inserting a picture and then look at the preview. Maek adjustments, preview again. Not happy, then don't save it.
Try again.

The hardest part is making sure the file size isn't larger than the limit.
The little window icon >

Click on it and it should bring up a dialog box >

Clicking on "Choose File" will land in someplace on the computer and from there it will be necessary to navigate to the folder with the image or file one wants to upload. For me it is easy to bring the image to the desktop or a preset folder to cut down on the navigation moves.
One disadvantage of this method is if more images are to be uploaded it may default on following uploads to wanting a URL. Then one has to click on the "From Computer" button.
Another method when posting more than one image is to "Go Advanced" or double click on the Reply button.
That brings up a wider choice of Icons >

Click the paper clip to get this >
File Uploading.png
There is a + next to the "upload" button. Click it if you want to upload more than one file.
Then click on "Choose File"
This should get you a window like this (the last window from which you uploaded a file >

Once the file is uploaded, click on the down pointing triangle next to the paper clip to see this >

Click on a file for it to be placed where the cursor is waiting.
The advantage of using "Go Advanced" is it is a bit faster and it is possible to type in text while images or other files are uploading.
