OMG! Talk about some gorgeous wood!! Get every single piece you can!!! Amazing score. Congratulations. I'm happy for you, and admittedly a dark shade of green with envy!
One look at that wall and I wouldn't know where to begin!
turned one piece yesterday, came out pretty nice, while taking it off the lathe I accidentally chipped the foot, in the process of gluing it back together. I'll be sure to post some pics of whatever I turn tomorrow.
Nice haul. If you're running out of room, you can always send a block or two my way .
Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Alex, You are going to have to get busy turning all your treasures or selling them off to buy a bulding to store it all in! Wood is a great addiction and I have it in triplicate! Have fun and keep turning away at the pile as you will never see the bottom ever again!

Hey Alex, I'll be in Torrance on 2-23. Having my taxes done. Any chance of some pen blanks, for $$. Let me know Thanks Marty
Well I'd be more than happy to give you a few pieces of olive for free, as well as some other wood if you want it. I got plenty. I don't have a bandsaw though so the pieces I give you will have to be rather large.
What time are you in town on Tuesday? I'm at school from 9-5
