After my old chainsaw died last fall I knew I was in need of another.
This is what I bought today. A Stihl 460 with a 28" bar.
As the saying goes, It cuts like butter!

I am extremely jealous, I have the ms310 with a 24" bar, its slightly under powered with a 24" and should probably have a 20" but every now and then I am cutting up something that needs a 24".
Hopefully one day I'll be able to get something like the 460.
Congratz!
btw, nice profile pic.
Well that sure beats the heck out of my 16" Remington electric!!
Congrats!
And looking at the pictures... are you sure you're old enough to be messin' with that saw???

Congratulations. I have the same saw only mine wears a 25" bar and chain. I love it. In fact I feel like cutting some wood right now.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Hope you all got a nice stash. Because this was seized at the border today.
good gloat...
Looks like buying that saw has de-aged you by a year or two.
I want to thank everyone for noticing my change in appearance. I have been eating better and exercising and it is starting to show

Could you send me a copy of that new Diet????????????

Great saw!
Hefting it around for a few hours is quite an exercise program on its own. It's amazing how heavy a few extra inches of bar length start to feel after a few hours.
Heck of a saw. Must be getting old. Just thinking about using a 28" bar makes my back and shoulders ache!
