    Olive, round 2

Still have quite a ways to go, I cut two piece off the stump today. Gotta get some more gas and oil tomorrow then hopefully I'll have enough time to finish it up. Then of course the long process of sealing.

Quite a stump. Looks like a good way to dull a chain! Wouldn't be doing that here with a foot of snow on the ground!

That's way too much olive for one man. You should send some to me.

Alex, wonder what is deep in that stump?? You need a backhoe! I bet the grain in the rest of what remains is fantastic.

Beautiful wood - but sure looks like a lot of work! Be safe and think through all your cuts - BEFORE - doing it!

I know john, i don't think ill be able to pull it all out which sucks because the lower I go the wider it gets. There is sooo much more down there. In the end the owner plans on grinding it down if its not pulled up somehow which means there'll be quite a bit of wood still down there.

They say money does not grow on trees! I believe it takes a wood turner to reveal the hidden natural treasures in a tree.
