Gift for a brake job "thank-you"

My neighbor saved me a bunch of $$ by helping me put a set of brakes on my car. I decided to pay him back with a new cutting board. I used some left over maple and walnut. If they treat it appropriately, they won't need another ever again!!!

    Hope you enjoy,

    Brian

Pretty! I don't think you'll have trouble getting his help again!

    Good Trade

Wood working versus auto mechanics? Give me the woodshop every time! I think you both made out well. Very nice cutting board.

Looks great and I like the way you elevated it giving it feet.

The feet are great for kitchen counters to prevent it sliding around while cutting.

Brian, looks like the neighbor did very well!! Nice work, and sounds like a good start on the barter system.

I agree with the others. I think your neighbor got the better deal and he will appreciate your thanks long after your pads wear out again!
