    Noticed that, too!

I've got jointer envy ... and I'm not blue-shifting this thread.

at about 200 feet that would make a great sequoia jointer bed.

6" Central Machinery, I think... It doesn't even have a brand stamp on it. It looks just like all of the other CM stuff though.

It's my first jointer, I have brand new Freud knives installed. It took me a while to get the knives right. In fact, I should probably check them again. My boards look pretty good when I edge or face joint.

    Not too bad for $160.

Put a Shelix in it works pretty nice.
Not sure if I am man enough to go any larger.
It's pretty hard to push the large boards thru If you are doing a lot of them.
    I think I saw a 20 or 24" with a feeder on it.

I have a feeder on my 16" jointer for the reasons you mention. If I'm running something like full length 6/4 oak it saves me from quite a workout. For case pieces I would rather mark the whole thing out in chalk and cut the boards down before jointing & planing. I don't think I have used the feeder in nearly a year.

I have 2 as some others do. I have an 8" Grizzly G0500 and a 12" G0634 combo j/p with a spiral head. I like having both in the shop.

Just remember that men tend to exaggerate the size of their jointers. I think medically verified results would be a bit lower.

yeah, I bet most are 6".
I wonder if only those with big ones are answering, or if there is outright deceit going on.
