And.... I'm located just 1,075 miles SW of Steve Schlumpf.
Nice looking egg and stand. Hope it does well at the auction.

Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone and a funnybone.
Jeff - really cool idea and a nice variation to a traditional hollow form! Hope it does well at the auction! Would be interested to know what the winning bid was - just out of curiosity.

That looks great. I'd hate to meet up with the chicken that layed that thing.
SPLATED egg! brings up memories of Humpty Dumpty, and messy windshields.
Sorry, just couldn't help myself, nice job, and generous contribution.
Very nicely done and the donation very selfless. Should bring them a decent price, but you can't go wrong no matter what.
How do you hollow an egg?
Thanks
Eric
Nice egg.
Somewhere the is an unhappy ostrich...
Nice egg! Hollowform? Bet I could turn a cracked one!
Thank you all your for comments, I have not heard how much it sold for yet the auction was last night.
I hollowed the egg up from the bottom and glued the base on, next idea will be to use threading tools so i may screw on the base and see if it will sell as a pet urn.
