    Ponytailed Creeker Spotted Today

While attending the Ft. Washington Wood Works show today I spotted a ponytailed Creeker sportily dressed in a blue corporate logoed MM shirt extolling the virtues of a MM16 to several attendees. I had a nice chat with Mr. Becker.

There were NOT very many good deals at this show. I was looking for some new clamps, but both the Bessey K bodies & the Gross Stabil clamps were priced at normal retail. I did score a Jointech Smart Miter including the video, right hand table and the stop for $279. Because I had to wait for almost 20 minutes to give them my plastic they comped me the new tenoning jig that attaches to the Smart Miter stop. I'll post pictures and a review when I get it set up & tested.

JIm Becker has a new gloat too, but I'll let him tell about that.

I do??? Oh, that...not until I can take pictures. 'Gotta follow the rules, you know.

It was nice seeing you again and a number of other Creekers today. I'm sure more will reveal themselves over the weekend. Just to clarify Ken's reference above, I'm helping out the Mini Max folks at this show 'splain things...kinda like being a "trade show booth babe" without the, um...attributes. But I get to touch Bill's new toy "a lot" in the process! (I'm really jealous, too...)

I beg your pardon, Mr. Becker. You are totally within the picture posting regulatory rules if you simply state that it's a "PRE-gloat" and pictures are forthcoming! Now, WHAT in blazes did you buy now?!

Not since high school football and ankle taping!

BTW, we were talking about you today. Were your ears ringing?

Just from running the old jointer and planer on 200 bf of walnut that just arrived. Sure wish I had a bigger unit but some mutual friends keep saying "maybe you can see one next week." Did they give any hint when I might see one, so I can finalize my commitment?
