    Dolan, it soaked for two or three days, then turned it 4 months later. It was about 1" thick after rough turning. Thank you all for the nice complements. Ron

    Wow, that's a beautiful form! The opening looks even smaller than 1 1/2" too. And the wood and finish are both beautiful too. That's just a really pretty piece of work!

    That's fantastic looking! I've tried walnut and it wasn't easy to turn. What knid of hollowing system do you use?
