Anyone have suggestions on something to use to get crayon off of an oak table top? Kids wanted to show their artistic side. It is finished with wipe on poly.

You could try the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It has worked on some things that have amazed me.
(Try it in an inconspicuous spot first)

Leave them on the table and let them fight over it when their old enought to apprecite what they did
+1 on the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. My kid did the same thing. The dresser had a satin poly finish. Eraser took off the crayon and didn't show any distress to the finish.
WD-40 does a nice job removing crayon. Just make sure it won't affect the finish on your table.
mineral spirits should work too.
"Goof Off"
also works, made for removing crayon etc.
