These are really good quality tags---3/16" (?) thick and notice the SS eyelet. Anybody know who manufacturers or wholesales them? I already found Boomerang tags, but they won't sell me blanks. Help appreciated.

If the eyelet is what's holding you back form purchasing them from a standard supplier, I'd consider adding my own eyelet... dirt cheap for a bag/1000, the tooling to install is <$50, all you add is some crunching time while sitting in front of the TV.

I got some grommets at Grommetmart.com in size #1, #0 and #00
Looks like #00
The tag material looks like some type of oil board. Saw tags like that in the Military.
