    HMS Victory

    Good day, a while back I posted a pic of a model ship I was building, well I finally done it, now I am working on a display case for it, the ship is over 49 inches long

    Beautiful job Jacques.
    I remember the original post and was impressed.
    Finished. Wow... I can't even imagine how many pieces were needed to put that puppy together.
    If you have some more pics, I too would like to see them.

    Really Cool. I like it. That would look really good in anybody's office. (Or anywhere else) and Nicely done. I would love to see the pic's of the build if you have any.

    I built a few ships, but thought the Victory was too much! WOW!

    Thank you for your nice comments, I will enclose more picks, but I only have internet via satellite so not quite as fast as highspeed, I live in the wood by a lake and Satellite was my only avenue or land line wich is very slow. There is 12,444 parts to built that ship and over 1,000 planks that has to be nailed and glued on. Just to give you an example, it needs 26 parts to built a canon and there is 96 canons. This is my third ship that I built, I did the Cote d'Emeraude and also the HMS Pandora.

    Who makes that kit? Constructo?

    That last ship I built was the HMS Bounty.

    Allan, Artesania Latina makes this ship, there is some other company who makes the History, but I find AL have the best. Cost a little bit over $1,000.00 for the kit, but is worth every penney
