    Jointer Cutterhead choice

I am going to purchase a Grizzly 8" jointer. The model
I'm looking at comes with a 4 blade HSS cutterhead or
is available with a carbide spiral cutterhead for an additional $400. Do any of you have experiece with
the spiral cutterhead and if so is it worth the additional
    $400 ?

    Thanks
    Larry

    Larry,

There was a long thread on exactly this topic a few months back. Here is a link to that thread. http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthre...er+cutter+head

I guess my public must be pretty huge then.
