    mesquiet hollow form

This is a mesquite form about 5"x5" with a tex ebony top and a few worm
holes filled with epoxy. This is actually turned from a limb. Some bark
    remants left for interesting figure.

I love the look of the mesquite. Still have a nice burl that I have not yet turned, but I am sure looking forward to it!

    Nice work!

That's beautiful. Both the form and the wood. One thing I especially like is that this form looks balanced. You see so many hollow forms with tiny bases that look like they would fall over at the slightest provocation. This one looks "right" to me, solidly planted but still graceful.

Very nice work Byron! Beautiful wood and the form has a nice 'organic' feel to it!

Nice form and finish... I like the fact that it's balanced, also... Is the bottom of it round, or is there a 'bottom' on it?
I love to make round forms that upright themselves if tipped over. I just leave enough in the bottom to do that.

I really like the shape of this one. It reminds me of a rain drop. The wood is beautiful, but I keep coming back to the form. Nicely done. I'm adding this to my mental list of things to try and copy.
