    Talking Gloat Ridgid OSS Combo

After searching for a long time for a Oscilating spindle sander I found this gem.

The guy is getting out of woodworking due to a back injury.. never even got through the first set of sand paper....

    $40!

The Ridgid is a good little sander, even better when you can get a screamin' deal like you did.

    Yep, YOU SUCK.

Definately a useful little sander, but be careful about the "deal" that sander has the ability to make you want a full size OSS and a full sized edge sander!

I aquired an extra through a deal and sold it to a friend for $75 - I thought I was being really good to him. It's a great sander and I've had mine for years, but for $40? Are you sure it wasn't hot? Congratulations, a great deal for sure!

I loved mine. And then one day I was moving it and it fell and landed smack on the spindle.

I thought $200 was a fair price after I had owned it for only a few days. I really like mine and plan for a larger one somewhere down the line.

Yep like I was saying, and its double evil because it makes you want two bigger machines.

got it into the shop last night. everything works fine..

trust me, ive been looking for a larger oss for a while but at $40 it was a steal that i can resell later. i contantly stay on the lookout for "tool upgrades" when i find a steal i sell my old tool to recoup some $$.

well now its back to the 16" jointer search...
