Anyone build this gizmo from issue 76? I finished it up last night and I'm having problems with the clamp. I can't seem to get it to engage with the threaded rod. Initially I thought I needed to adjust the pivot pin location, but that doesn't seem to be the case. With everything in the "right" position, it looks like the little piece of threaded rod hits the long threaded shaft pretty parallel, but when I put pressure on the "finger" to pivot the clamp into the threaded rod, I don't seem to be able to move it by cranking the handle. Anyone else have problems with this aspect? Even better, can someone tell me what stupid thing I've done and how to fix it? Below is the cover of the issue showing the jig.
