    Nice Paint Job

So, about 2 minutes and 20 seconds in on this video, one guy seems to be just standing there.

    He must be the boss.

Do any of you know what the outside of your jetliner looks like? I just file on, find my seat, and wait for my destination to happen. I never see the paint job.

I don't think I'd be comfortable breathing that air through even the best respirator made.

I never would have considered naming an airliner "Mustang Sally".

Want to hitch a ride on these planes? It's pretty cozy inside, too. I'd be very happy to see time lapse video of these planes getting stripped clean.

    That's just embarrassing.

Hopefully the folks doing the painting are supplied with fresh air from outside the building.

You might be right, but I didn't see any tanks or hoses.

In rare times I'll see the plane body in LAX, but most time I only see the plane cockpit window.

I just keep hearing Earl Schibe saying, "I can paint that for $29.99."

    I wonder what painting a 747 costs?

I'd think Maaco has a special on jetliners for under 5K

I must say I was surprised at the amount of overspray,

There are definitely some unique paint jobs out there. Alaska Airlines has had some doozies. They had their Disney painted planes, and my favorite...the Salmon-Thirty-Salmon:
